The doctors’ staff are wonderful! They act like you are part of their family going the extra mile to put you at ease. I had a cyst removed and was terrified. They made an uncomfortable situation something I had no problem getting through. High class service.

What is oral pathology?
Oral pathology is a science that focuses on diagnosing, treating, and researching diseases of the mouth. This includes diseases that affect the gums, teeth, and glands as well as the hard and soft tissues of the mouth. It’s much easier to catch early signs of problems such as oral cancers within this pathology.
What’s the difference between oral and maxillofacial surgery?
Oral surgeries include dental implant procedures, gum grafts, root canal, or wisdom teeth removal. Within these procedures, we’ll use specialized tools and techniques to treat the tissues of your mouth (including your gums or jawbone).

Maxillofacial surgeries deal with soft tissue injuries that occur in the mouth, neck, and face. This type of surgery also includes facial injuries such as fractures that may occur in the upper or lower nose, orbit, jaw, and cheekbone.

How long do surgeries take?
Oral surgery generally takes approximately 45 to 90 minutes, while most maxillofacial surgeries can take between 2 to 5 hours. However, the exact time depends on the type of procedure you need. Our team can provide you with a more accurate estimate after your consultation.
